My girlfriend and I visited Bhutan for a week in May 2003. It is with great pleasure that I recommend Kinley's services to you and your friends. From the word "go", Kinley showed professionalism, from suggesting possible itineraries to arranging for visas/tickets in the least possible time. Once we arrived at Paro airport, we were taken care of better than we would have ever expected. Kinley's colleagues took us all around, making sure that we thoroughly enjoyed the "scheduled" trip while leaving us the flexibility to change plans as needed. Kinley himself was always available and met with us for a meal when we passed by Thimphu. I guess two things we were impressed with: the kindness of everyone at Himalayan Adventures, and their english language skills which made everything really smooth. Plus, in my view, the luck we had to visit what I consider the most beautiful country among the 41 I have visited. I am sure you will enjoy Bhutan and Himalayan Adventures' services. As far as I am concerned, as I told Kinley, I hope I'll be able to be up there again for a trek……… Alessandro Liverani, Italy |

Dearest Deepak, This is the first chance I have had to write and offer thanks for all the Nima and Tenzin did for us on our very meaningful trip to your wonderful country. We hope to come back soon, in a few years at least. At such time I think we may not be able to do some of the intense climbing to some of the monasteries, but we would like to extend our travels further east than Bumtang. I cannot begin to offer enough praise to Nima and Tenzin. They were both especially kind to me as I (at age 64 1/2, living all my life at sea level, and not in the best physical shape) had some difficulties getting to some of the higher monasteries. However, I did make all but one of them and was able to do some Buddhist practice in many of your most sacred places. This was certainly a highlight of my life.Just in passing, I went to my physician yesterday and she told me I was in better health now than she has ever seen me. I think part of this is from the blessing that comes from being in your wonderful and sacred country.I want to add too that I was deeply touched by the depth and sincerity of the Buddhist belief and practice of both Nima-la and Tenzin-la. I also was deeply touched by the sincerity and genuine heart felt Buddhist practice I found all over Bhutan. Professor Schlosser and I are back in the middle of teaching again. It is strange to be here in New York City where there is so much energy but so much of which is directed towards people's own individual goals. Yet at the same time there is great generosity and friendliness here and I think the energy of the city is and creates a great basis for dharma practice. I think there are actually more different Buddhist traditions actively represented in New York City than in most if not all other places in the world. The percentage of practicing Buddhist may be very small compared to the entire population of the city -- about 8 million people -- yet the possibility is here and is alive and well. Once again, please do convey our thanks to Nima-la and Tenzin-la. We hope we will be able to be guided by them in the future. I hope things went OK with you all after the heavy snowfall you just experienced. It must have been difficult for your clients go get around, not because your own vehicles can't handle the snow, but because many of your cars, like the small taxis probably had a hard time and may have even slipped on the ice and blocked the roads. I want to just suggest, if you have any control over these things, that hotels try to get more heaters and that somehow the government explores more variety of foods for tourists. The food was so much the same wherever we went that there was some monotony and after awhile the same food became not very appealing, though it was prepared with care and quality and neither Professor Schlosser nor I got sick from any food or water. I keep wanting to thank you but there is really no way to fully express our gratitude. All the best for now and for the new year. William, USA |

Hi Kinley, I hope you and Nima are enjoying your off season break. First and most important I would like to thank you and Nima for giving us such a wonderful experience in Bhutan. We all enjoyed it very much. All we could talk about on our way back to Bangkok was how successful the trip was how lucky we were to find your company. We thought we might become tired of all the Dzongs but each one revealed something special culminating in the fantastic walk to the Tigers Nest. We also enjoyed seeing so much of the way of life in Bhutan. The walk through the back lanes of Jakar, the paper factory, the weaving, the market and the archery were all fascinating. To us this is as much 'culture' as the Dzongs. Your organisation of the trip was excellent and Nima was most enjoyable company as well as being an excellent guide. We also appreciated the driving of Penjor. He gave us a very safe trip, we always felt confident of his driving and know that he made great effort to make our travel as comfortable as possible. We will be happy to recommend Himalayan Adventures to our friends. If you ever need a reference in Australia please give our email address. We will be happy help convince would be travellers to travel with you………….. Harold Medd x 6, Australia |

Dear Nima, Thank you for sharing a little of your very special country with us for a week. We very much enjoyed the company of one of the world’s most eligible bachelors-although he may soon be a little less eligible, he’ll certainly be no less’, and probably even more engaging than ever. We both wish you a very happy and prosperous future with your new family!, as well as great business success in your ventures with Kinley. We are both very confident you will succeed. Keep in touch, and it’s great to be able to have you as a new friend. Penjor, We both want to thank you for taking such good care of us-your goodwill, patience and kindness were very much appreciated. Dear Deepak, Thanks you very much for checking in. I really appreciate that. We all arrived well back at home, and Ramón Blanco received his money back. Thank you very much for your help in arranging the trip and also Ramón's refund. We very much enjoyed our visit to Bhutan, and the trek (notwithstanding the disappointment of not being able to do the entire trek loop - I also appreciate your flexibility here with the sympolic 80 dollars). It was good to meet you in person in Thimphu. I will be happy to act as a reference for future potential clients, if you need my help. Best regards, Alejandro, Spain |

| Hello Kinley, Just wanted to let you know that we finished out our trip to safely and happily. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed both your country and you and your staff.
I especially appreciated your warm and professional manner. Everything went smoothly on the trip, and we have nothing that we would change. Thank you again for mailing the postcards for me. We have not yet received them, but I am sure they will come soon. I wanted to pass on that we were very happy with Tashi. He was very attentive and hospitable.
Also, I can't thank you enough for arranging the meeting between myself and your uncle Jimba. Even though we did not speak each others language, it was a special meeting for me and I am very grateful to you for making it happen. If there is anything I can do for you over here in , please do not hesitate to let me know. I will pass your services on to friends of mine who might be interested in coming to . My parents might be one of them. Take care, and thank you again. Sincerely, TJ Killoran |
